Avery’s Outreach is our way of helping as many children and young adults (25 and younger) as possible with the essentials to make their lives and their families’ lives a little better by Avery’s Outreach being able to help them in a time of need.
Avery is our 20-year-old son who was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 3, and we know what it is like to help him grow and the struggles he has endured that go with that. So our hearts go out to other parents and children who are struggling as well.
For many years we have thought about how we could give back to our local and now national presence with our companies (Horter Investment Management, LLC and Tactical Fund Advisors, LLC). We have been blessed in so many ways that we wanted to do something in the spirit of helping young men and women. We believe in the youth of America (we are currently helping kids with disabilities, amateur baseball teams, and our Marianist High School) and want to pursue something more personal to us, which is Autism as it is so near and dear to our hearts.
Avery’s parents, Drew and Gwen Horter, are funding the start-up costs, with the two companies, Horter Investment Management, LLC and Tactical Fund Advisors, LLC, which will continue to make contributions on a regular basis.
